Programs

Walk on the Wildside
Capacity: 50 people
Length: 45 minutes
Description: Trek back into the woods with one of CSP's educators. Identify plants along the river. Walk over the karst rock topography of the woods and river. Spot wildlife of all sizes. Identify native and exotic plant and animal species. Join our naturalists in our learning lab as they share some of the wonders of Florida's native reptiles. From the small lizards to the largest alligator, get an up-close encounter with these cold-blooded creatures. Meet some of the animals that you are sure to encounter in Florida's wild places.

Florida Master Naturalist Program
Description: Become a Florida Master Naturalist through this in-depth exciting course. This program was developed by the Univerity of Florida to promote understanding and education of Florida's diverse habitats.

We have formed the CSP FMNP club. This is an opportunity for any graduate of this wonderful program to stay in touch and network. We are going to put together fieldtrips, both near and far, as well as organize community events. Please email cspfmnpclub@yahoo.com for more information.

Wetlands Component: We will be offering the wetlands component from August 14-18 and a second class from September 25-29. The classes will be from 9-5 each day (unless altered by instructor). To register follow the link below
